Before we arrive
- 1Turn off the stopcock (usually under the kitchen sink) if water is escaping.
- 2Switch off the boiler and any electrics near standing water.
- 3If you smell gas, turn off the gas at the meter and open windows.
- 4Move valuables and electricals away from the affected area.
